Position Description
Location - Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington or Christchurch
We are looking for a Security Systems Manager to lead the performance, assurance and continuous improvement of our enterprise security technologies. Sitting within Group Security, this role plays an essential part in protecting our people, assets, information and products across manufacturing sites, corporate offices, retail stores and our wider supply chain.
You’ll oversee the planning, design standards and governance of our electronic security systems—including access control, CCTV and intrusion detection—ensuring they remain reliable, secure and aligned with protective security requirements. You’ll act as the organisation’s central expert, supporting sites and project teams, driving system consistency, and building strong partnerships with IT, OT, facilities, vendors and integrators.
- Leading enterprise planning, standards and documentation for security system design and performance.
- Overseeing system administration, health checks, assurance activities and configuration across Gallagher Command Centre, CCTV and other platforms.
- Supporting projects and sites with system design, implementation, commissioning and upgrades.
- Managing technical training for system administrators and building a connected user community.
- Working closely with IT/OT, site leaders and vendors to ensure system integration, resilience and continuous improvement.
- Around 10 years’ experience working with complex technical or security systems in a large enterprise.
- Strong background in risk management, system design, operational technology or automation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise, problem-solve and manage competing technical requirements.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or industry certification (Gallagher, Hikvision or Milestone experience an advantage).
