About the Opportunity

In this permanent-part time role reporting into the Beverages S&OP Category Manager, you will be able to deliver the core functions of Supply and Production planning, as well as drive continuous improvement activity. You will manage the day-to-day production schedule while overseeing the 0–24-month capacity planning to ensure we meet our targeted customer service levels using the demand plan as your signal. As part of this highly impactful team, you will provide an executable production plan to the Beverages manufacturing site, which balances operational efficiencies and customer service levels.

This role will see you partnering with our Commercial and Operations Teams as well as the wider Mainland Dairy Planning and Production teams.

Other key responsibilities include:

Drive best practice for supply and production planning for Beverages and relevant markets
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across S&OP, Sales, Production and Supply Chain
Drive customer satisfaction with effective supply and production planning
Complete relevant analysis and reporting

To note, this permanent-part time role will be salaried to work 8 hours per day, for 3 days Tuesday – Thursday inclusive. You may be required to work the occasional weekend (covering during team leave).

The successful candidate will be primarily based onsite at Takaanini, with flexibility to work from home and our Fanshawe office as required.

About You

We’re looking for a bright, motivated planner who can identify opportunities for improvement in processes, close gaps and resolve issues. The successful candidate will have proven experience in supply or production planning, ideally from within an FMCG environment.

Additionally, you will have exceptional communication skills with an ability to effectively manage competing stakeholder requirements and build strong relationships across the business. Previous experience of working on SAP system will be advantageous, and a strong knowledge of Excel is required.
