Expertise in Pastry/Bakery with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, ideally with international exposure
Proven creativity and technical skills in dairy applications and solutions across Beverages QSR, and hot kitchen
Knowledge of equipment, processes, ingredients, and digital marketing
Commercial mindset combined with strong communication and consulting skills, proven ability of inspiring customer engagement and drive business outcomes
Role purpose
As the Head of Chefs, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, customer engagement, and technical excellence across Vietnam. Reporting to the Channel Marketing Manager, you will lead a team of Advisory chefs, collaborate with key customers, and shape the future of dairy applications in foodservice within Fonterra.
Role Accountabilities
Develop and execute an innovation strategy aligned with AFP’s growth goals.
Create cutting-edge recipes and kitchen solutions that drive customer success.
Drive business growth through technical support and fostering strong relationships with customers, Key Opinion Leader chefs and bakers, helping to identify new opportunities.
Lead product testing, benchmarking, and professional demonstrations.
Deliver technical training to sales teams, distributor partners and foodservice operators
Manage and mentor a team of Advisory Chefs across Vietnam.
About You
Diploma from a recognized Culinary/Hospitality School (City & Guilds in Pastry preferred).
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Pastry / Bakery Chef, ideally with international exposure.
Strong technical skills in dairy applications across bakery, hot kitchen, QSR, and beverages.
Proven creativity and ability to deliver 5-star level pastry and dessert concepts.
Commercial mindset with excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food costing software.
Proficiency in Digital Marketing & Performance Media, Strategic Partnership Development and Engagement
Fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
