About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga
We are looking for a Data Products Lead to be responsible for developing and assisting in the implementation of the Data Product framework within Fonterra.
In this role, you'll be developing and assisting our Data Products framework to drive a culture where data assets are owned, understood, reusable, accessible, discoverable, governed, designed, and maintained to deliver business value, and ultimately trusted to deliver great outcomes from data across the Co-op.
Working as part of the Data Chapter within IT, you’ll partner with our talented Data and AI team and IT personnel, ensuring that our solutions are not only sound but also effectively delivered. Your leadership will be key in guiding our Data Steward capability and engaging with the wider IT Chapter to achieve outcomes that matter.
But that's not all. You'll also play a crucial role in supporting the business re-use of data by establishing the Data Product Working Group. This means connecting with key players like Data Product Managers and Data Product Owners to ensure we're all on the same page and making the most of our data across the Co-op.
About you | Mōu
You are someone who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table, with a degree or industry certifications in areas like IT, business, data management, data governance, data analytics, or computer science.
You've mastered the art of managing stakeholders at all levels and know how to connect technical and business teams, ensuring everyone is working towards common goals. You can talk data products and their importance with C-Suite colleagues, making complex concepts clear and compelling. You have a deep understanding of areas like data management, data lineage, data quality, or data governance. Even if you're not an expert in every area, you have the competence to contribute and influence effectively.
