About the opportunity | Te whai waahi

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the Farm Source brand and Co-op Connection initiatives in a 12-month parental leave cover capacity. This role is pivotal in driving effective marketing communications and promotional activities to engage our farmers, reinforce our value propositions, and strengthen farmer engagement and loyalty to ensure a consistent supply of milk for the Co-op.

This role will Champion the positioning and value propositions of both Fonterra and Farm Source brands for our farmer, Co-op owner audience. As well as leading our Farm Source brand strategy development this role is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of internal and external communications messaging and content across all channels.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead the implementation of Farm Source brand strategy and development of marketing campaigns to align and support wider business goals.
Lead the ongoing implementation and refresh of our Milk Supply value propositions campaign and internal communications strategy.
Develop and execute content, creative, and collateral strategies to drive farmer loyalty and ongoing connections to their Co-op - Fonterra
Drive digital and social media strategies, managing content creation and user journeys across our various engagement channels
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all communications align with brand strategies and also deliver stakeholder needs.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and campaign management.
Collaborate within the Marketing Lead team to ensure to ensure all marketing and brand experiences are aligned to the overarching brand objectives and vision.

You must be highly organised, proactive, bring second-to-none communication skills and a solid experience base managing brand strategy and execution at a corporate level. You will need to be resilient, able to negotiate tricky situations and get the best out of stakeholders with numerous needs and wants. Your customer-first approach and ability to get to grips with a complicated working environment quickly will help you succeed in this rewarding role.

Other key requirements include:

Tertiary qualification in Communications, Brand, or Marketing Strategy.
5+ years of experience in brand and marketing management.
Proven track record in strategic agility, analytical skills, and problem-solving.
Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
Ability to drive change and achieve high-performing results through team management.
