Fonterra Oceania is our newly formed entity that merges the Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia operations, aimed at enhancing our competitive position in the trans-Tasman dairy market. The integration of Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia builds on similarities to outperform the competition, create scale and synergies, and will strengthen our competitive edge. This role will join a team that helps to build an even stronger trans-Tasman dairy business with reach across Oceania and beyond.

About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi

Reporting to the Sales Operations Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our sales operations – the crucial link between our sales teams, customers, and supply chain. You'll play a key role in delivering the perfect order, driving process excellence, and helping bring NZ dairy to the world, one seamless delivery at a time. As a trusted team player, you’ll contribute to a positive, high-performance culture while collaborating cross-functionally with finance, marketing, and operations to streamline and enhance sales processes. In addition to this you will:

Be the sales team’s right hand – ensuring every customer promise is met with precision and professionalism
Own the contract-to-delivery process, from creating SAP quotes to monitoring order book health
Drive master data accuracy and champion compliant, high-quality handovers
Build strong relationships with key internal teams and external customers alike
Use your problem-solving skills to proactively manage issues, complaints, and queries
Help make smarter decisions through insightful reporting and systems knowledge
Be a go-to person for continuous improvement, bringing clarity and order to complex processes

About you | Ko wai koe

You’re a natural collaborator with a customer-first mindset who thrives on getting the detail right and keeping things running smoothly. You’re confident navigating systems, love solving problems, and take pride in being the person people can rely on. In addition to this you will bring:

A tertiary qualification in business or technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
Customer service experience (ideally within a sales or operational setting)
A working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office 365
Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy
A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing multiple priorities
Confidence working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering great customer outcomes
