About the Opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi
We are seeking a Regulatory Manager on a Part-Time basis for 12- month fixed term to join our Global Regulatory team. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in managing emerging risks, shaping regulatory policies, and making an impact on both the local and global dairy industries.
Based in either Auckland, Hamilton or Christchurch, this role will be perfect for someone passionate about tackling regulatory challenges, supporting the role of dairy for global nutrition, and building strong networks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Scan & identify emerging regulatory trends and opportunities that impact on business strategy
Lead advocacy activities for global regulatory issues, including leading with internal subject matter experts and external parties to ensure alignment of positions.
Lead regulatory issues management as required.
Representation of Fonterra interests in regulatory engagement with internal and external stakeholders including local associations and with government officials
Lead regulatory work streams within Global Innovation NPD, NTD and marketing projects to enable product launch.

We’re looking for a motivated professional who thrives on collaboration and is skilled at navigating regulatory complexities.
Other skills and experience we value include:
Tertiary education: Masters or Honours tertiary qualification in science, food technology, nutrition or law.
Experience in regulatory management, regulatory affairs, or a similar field, ideally within the food or dairy industry.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance diverse perspectives and drive strategic outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
A proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving innovative solutions.
