Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth for the company’s dairy product portfolio and deliver brand revenue and profitability targets. This role involves market research, product positioning, campaign management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business goals.
Key Accountabilities:
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies for assigned brands to delivery growth targets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and build annual plans.
- Prepare and manage annual marketing budgets and forecasts and accountability for spend efficacy.
Brand Management
- Maintain and strengthen the brand Equity and image.
- Oversee packaging design, labelling compliance, and brand storytelling across channels.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touch points.
Campaign Management and Execution
- Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new campaigns, new product launches, activations and promotions within budget onetime.
- Collaborate with sales, R&D, and production teams to align product offerings with market demand.
- Manage the company’s digital marketing efforts, including website, biddable, organic channels ,CRM and PR efforts and guide content development.
- Monitor digital performance analytics and optimize campaigns for engagement and ROI.
Category and Channel Planning
- Maintain close working relationships with sales and trade marketing teams, and work to integrate marketing programs across the channels.
- Support channel partners and distributors with marketing materials and promotions.
Product Innovation
- Proactively seeks to drive innovation within the portfolio as part of the OpCos long term strategic planning.
- Lead or participate in cross functional Project teams in a Phase-Gate process for new product development projects.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with external agencies, important stakeholder Media, PR and Activation agencies to deliver plans.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure campaign readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in FMCG or food/dairy industry.
- Proven track record in managing successful marketing campaigns and product launches and delivery results.
- Strong business acumen and PnL appreciation.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market segmentation, and positioning and brand management.
- Experience in digital marketing tools, analytics, and CRM platforms.
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
